She also composes music for theatre plays, being her last work the music for Suyay (Pilar Ruiz, Buenos Aires 2020-2022).
Currently, she leads her own project as singer and composer Luciana Morelli group formed by Philipp Hillebrand (clarinet and bass clarinet), Mauricio Silva Orendain (piano), Snejana Prodanova (double bass and backing vocals) and Paulo Almeida (drums).
In 2021 she released “Lo abismal, el agua” (ears&eyes records), English translation: The abyssal, the water, which title refers to the hexagram of the I-ching, the book of mutations, and that says: “water reaches its goal by flowing without interruption”. Through eight songs, the artist tells the story of her journey to Switzerland not only with lyrics, but also with her wordless vocals and her arrangements, building a bridge between Argentinian music roots, and jazz.
In Autumd 2022 she is planing a tour in Switzerland, France and Germany.
