I am a colorful singer on fire, full of awaken emotions. Music is a part of my everyday life. This passion was passed down to me from my mother, Dounia Nemitz, and slowly grew on me, until it became my profession.
I joined the “Haute école de Jazz” in Bern, from which I graduated with the highest grade. Then I decided to do a master degree in pedagogy that I got in June 2018.
Next to my studies, I’m always composing and playing mostly guitar and piano. I started off playing in a band called “Snails on Daisies” with my two older sisters. In 2014, I decided to reinvent myself in the duo “Oh My Deer” with Baptiste Maier, drummer and friend of mine I met at the HKB. This current project, which is growing, allows me to alternate between jazzy grooves, slow pop ballads, and rock’n’roll riffs. Since spring 2017 I create my own project under my name JESSANNA which I'm free to only sing supported by four talented musicians.

Contestant in The Voice Switzerland 2013 et France 2016, interpretation of “Jesus Christ Superstar” and Starmania in January 2017/18, teacher job at the “Musique des Jeunes” in Bienne, etc.
