She/her
Sophie Adam is the lead singer and songwriter of the electro-pop band Namaka.
She grew up in Biel and has been living in Zurich for the past four years. In 2017, she graduated from the University of the Arts in Bern with a Master of Arts in Music - Performance Jazz Vocals.
During her studies, she stayed 6-month at the Popakademie in Mannheim (DE), where she was able to sharpen her identity as a songwriter, but also as a performer.
In the past years, she had the opportunity to participate in various bands and projects in Switzerland and Germany, as a musician, speaker and songwriter.
Since April 2019, she works part-time at the indie label Mouthwatering Records, a nice addition to the artistic side.
