She/They
Swiss-Canadian songwriter and artist working across pop, folk, and alternative spaces, with additional experience in electronic and jazz contexts. My work centers on storytelling through songwriting — creating emotionally clear, narrative-driven songs within a folk and pop lens, while also working as a topliner in more production-driven environments. I’ve written and performed internationally, including representing Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, collaborating with artists such as Armin van Buuren, Ørjan Nilsen, and Zomboy, and participating in SOCAN songwriting camps in Hollywood and Toronto.
I have played over 2,000 live performances and written more than 600 songs to date. My live work includes festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival, Squamish Music Festival, Zermatt Unplugged, and Blue Balls Festival. My music has been featured in television series including Rookie Blue and Tessa & Scott, and I have composed the soundtrack for a film. In 2026, I released the singles *“Maybe Baby”* with Heidi Happy, *“It’s Alright”* with my duo Goldschatz, and *“My Magic”* under my solo project Rykka, while continuing to develop new material.
I previously worked with Cordova Bay Records in Canada and am currently signed with Vissen Records, as well as releasing with Little Jig Records in Switzerland. My work has been supported by over $150,000 in grants, with nominations including the m4music Demotape Clinic and the Western Canadian Music Awards, alongside multiple wins in national radio songwriting competitions. Alongside my artistic work, one of my passions is mentoring children in music and songwriting, sharing creative tools and helping develop their own voice. My songwriting translates complex emotional states into clear, memorable concepts, often exploring identity, trust, and human connection, and moves fluidly between collaborative sessions and more personal, artist-driven projects.
