I have performed at Auditorio Nacional de Música, in Madrid, Círculo de Bellas Artes, also in Madrid, Viñarock Festival (Spain), Cully Classique Festival (Switzerland) and Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), among other places. I have a classical background, and I experiment intensively with other styles, like jazz with the Jazz Orchestra of the University of Bern, and rock with the band Kalimotxo Swing. In the classical realm, Pianist Rafael Gordillo, saxophonist Sara Zazo or violoncellist Ángela Lobato are among my most frequent collaborators.
I have been playing saxophone all my life. My very first contact with the instrument was in the marching band of my village, Belorado, in the Burgos region, in Spain. A few years later, I finished my professional studies in the Conservatorio de Amaniel, in Madrid, with the professor Ángel Luis de la Rosa. Currently I live in Bern, Switzerland.
I also hold a PhD in Computer Science from the prestigious École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.
