KA-RABA is a Swiss-based DJ, cultural producer, curator, community organizer, and founder of OKRA Collective. Known for her hypnotic, bass-driven soundscapes, she crafts immersive club experiences where Afrofuturism meets forward-thinking electronic music. Moving fluidly across genres, she guides audiences through transformative sonic journeys that are both challenging and deeply enchanting.

Her growing international presence reflects her versatility and dedication to her craft. In Switzerland, she has performed at renowned venues and festivals such as Elysia Basel, Bad Bonn, Montreux Jazz Festival, Gurtenfestival or WECANDANCE in Belgium. Internationally, her distinctive sound has resonated at Kiosk Radio in Brussels, Radion Club and Garage Noord in Amsterdam, and at the acclaimed Trans Musicales in Rennes, alongside performances in Dakar, Paris, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Whether in energetic club settings, intimate sound performances or major festival contexts, KA-RABA adapts her sound with precision, depth, and emotional intensity.

As the driving force behind OKRA Collective, she develops interdisciplinary projects that merge sound, visuals, and community storytelling. The collective’s work includes experimental audiovisual installations and short films, most notably "Everyday Blackness", commissioned by Kunstmuseum Basel for the exhibition "When We See Us: A Century of Black Figuration in Painting". Expanding beyond the dancefloor, her practice engages institutional and public spaces with equal artistic rigor.

Alongside her artistic work, KA-RABA is part of the co-direction of Clubbüro at Rote Fabrik Zürich, where she contributes to shaping inclusive club culture and sustainable artistic infrastructures. She also works as a mentor and consultant with cultural institutions, supporting emerging artists and cultural practitioners through strategic guidance, knowledge-sharing, and community-centered approaches.

Rooted in the belief that sound and art are transformative tools, KA-RABA’s work fosters dialogue, challenges perceptions, and celebrates collective identities—on and beyond the dancefloor.
