Singer, trumpet player, composer, producer, songwriter, and performer, Justine Tornay, originally from Valais, is a multifaceted artist. Winner of the 2022 Mentorat Prize at the Cully Jazz Festival, she stands out for her desire to forge musical connections beyond genres. From electronic music to improvised sounds, through pop, rock, and classical, her journey reflects a constant quest for new horizons.
Within the pop electronica project J.NUNN, she chooses to express her own voice, supported by those of various artists she has met along the way. In 2023, the group released its debut EP, Shadow of Nunn, under the Blizzard Audio Club label. The project quickly attracted the attention of several Swiss and international music organizations.
Justine follows a dual path: collaboration and sharing, while affirming her artistic identity. It is a subtle and exciting balance where each encounter enriches and fuels her creativity.
