Emilie Zoé’s rugged guitar playing and melodic artistry immediately stand out. The voice is both delicate and rough. Emilie Zoé has gained a reputation for highly dynamic and soaring live performances, in direct contrast with the records’ minimalistic charm. The project, presented on stage as a duo since 2014 and with 350 shows in its record, wins the 'Best Act Romandie' prize at the Swiss Music Awards 2019. The band is soon invited to perform at key European venues and festivals, such as The Great Escape Brighton (UK), Fusion Festival (DE), Bad Bonn Kilbi (CH), Paléo Festival Nyon (CH), Winterthurer Musikfestwochen (CH), Eurosonic festival (NL), and opens for artists such as Shannon Wright and Jay-Jay Johanson.

Emilie Zoé receives the Swiss Music Prize 2020, an award by which the Swiss Federal Office of Culture recognizes exceptional and innovative creative talent. In February 2022, Emilie Zoé releases the album "Hello Future Me", from which the single "Roses on Fire" is taken. The record is acclaimed "Album of the year 2022" by Indiesuisse.

Self-produced and self-exploratory, this album is composed of songs written like letters sent to the future. It further explores the deep-rooted and minutely crafted universe of melodies and sounds deer to Emilie Zoé’s heart. It’s also crafted with their favorite tools: a guitar that just turned 60, a hand-made guitar amp, a dusty organ from a flea market and a slightly detuned piano. The release was followed by an 82-dates tour in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Italy and Austria. These include opening for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at the Montreux Jazz Festival (CH), Kae Tempest at Les Nuits de Fourvière (FR), Royal Blood in Toulouse (FR) and Muse in Bern (CH) in 2023. The release of Emilie Zoé’s new album is planned for 2025.
