With Indian and Austrian roots, Kathy grew up in Sheffield, lived in Liverpool, Berlin and Amsterdam before coming to Switzerland. They have lived in Lucerne for over 15 years now and have been active in shaping local cultural life by organizing concerts, parties and political events. They are co-founder of Queer Office, responsible for the programming of the queer film festival PinkPanorama and sit on the Lucerne Integration Commission.
Kathy has led the Music Lab project for Helvetiarockt since the beginning of 2018 and launched the first season of the Helvetiarockt Podcast "Musicians in Conversation" at the end of 2020. In their free time they like to play bass and swim in natural waters.
