JOKO MAGIC – The Jazz, RnB and Afro Beats Saxophonist who grew up in Switzerland and Germany. Joko is back in Switzerland after having lit up London with her smooth saxophone magical sounds, a buzzed blond short bob and impressive tattoos.
A Master’s degree in Jazz Performance at the University of the Arts in Switzerland and numerous experience working alongside different bands and artists including her own band (Joko likes it Hard). Her dedication and passion for the sax has led her to perform in several renowned locations such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazzwerkstatt, Glastonbury, Hammersmith Apollo and the famous Mühle Hunziken.
She has released 2 EPs with her own band and has been worked on collaborations with producers. One of her next goals is to make a name for herself in her homeland and release an Album of her own compositions.
Since her return to Switzerland she’s been performing on stage with various Bands such as IRINA MOSSI & Band, KLISCHÉE, the GERRY LOPEZ BIG BAND, VIDA VOCAL and will now be appearing again with her own music called JOKO MAGIC'S 'Alto Astral'. Stay tuned!
