At the core of FONCÉs practices are poetic storytelling and re/dis_membering through expansive listening. Their creative expressions mirror their processes of un_Becoming by weaving together different mediums such as writing, sound production, DJing and event organization. They are curious about collectively re_writing and re_assembling embodied narratives, while drawing knowledge from lived experiences. Since 2020, FONCÉ has been a member of OKRA, a collective of multidisciplinary afro-descendant creatives and in 2025 they joined MigrArt, an initiative of people who seek refuge and other BIPoC artists in Zurich.

As a DJ, FONCÉ has played at established events such as Gurten Festival, Festival de La Cité, La Fête du Slip, Bermudadreieck, Bone Performance Festival and Art Basel. They are engaged and present in the local club scene and have played at venues across Switzerland including La Gravière, Arsenic, Gessnerallee, Kraftfeld, Hirscheneck, Kaserne Basel, Dampfzentrale, Exil, Zentralwäscherei, Rote Fabrik and many more. Beyond Switzerland, FONCÉ has performed internationally in Berlin, Barcelona, Frankfurt am Main, Vienna, Malindi and Nairobi. They have contributed Radio mixes for NTS Radio, Oroko Radio, Reform Radio, Mutant Radio, Radio X, Radio 3fach and Radio Bollwerk. In 2026, FONCÉ joined transition radio as a resident with their bi-monthly show 'an archive of beloved things'.

In 2022 FONCÉ participated in the 'Club and Care' residency at Gessnerallee, in collaboration with Anti-Mass (UG), misery (UK), FUBU (CH) and OKRA Collective (CH). That same year, they were invited for a research trip to Nyege Nyege Festival (UG), funded by ProHelvetia. Furthermore, they participated in a laboratory residency at Kaserne Basel in collaboration with Forever Imbricated together with Jokkoo Collective (ES), DeForrest Brown Jr. (USA) and OKRA Collective. The collaborative process culminated in a performance called 'Black Atlantic Lifeworlds' which premiered at Kaserne Basel in 2023. In 2024, they were part of another laboratory residency as a member of OKRA Collective, in collaboration with Anti-Mass at Zentralwäscherei. More recently, FONCÉ was hosted by Maabara Atelier (KE) for a one month laboratory residency.

As an event-organizer, they were part of the curatorial team for last year's wildwuchs festival (BS), co-organized a day during OMG Franck! festival (BS), an event for Basel Social Club, Sunday Hideout (BS), Clubliteratur (BE) and more.
