Dew has arrived:
After turbulent times in the USA and more than 100 concerts in Switzerland and in neighboring countries, dew has record three songs from her "gift-recordings in 2019 at Helium Records in Basel.
The new songs are in dew’s distinctive style – Nicole’s voice and the diversity of her guitar playing – increasingly enhanced by soundscapes and guitar-melodies. The three songs from the "gift-session" are about holding on, about moving forward, but also about typical dew- themes such as death and letting go. Dew consists of Nicole - on vocals and guitars.
From the outset, dew’s music had impressed a well- known filmmaker: Roger Mäder (films such as „Schwerelos“, „Wildnis Schweiz“) had the idea of producing music videos with dew. This was a lucky break for dew, to be able to promote the songs with great music video.
Dew’s latest single „moments to dwell“, recorded in the USA with Larry Crane (Elliot Smith, The Go-Betweens, Jenny Lewis) has opened new and impressive avenues for the band. Dew’s first solo-album quickly created much interest. The song „words“ was discovered by the DRS3 SOUNDS!- Team and promptly chosen as the „song of the week“. Furthermore, Radio Suisse Romande invited dew to Lausanne for a live- performance and radio SWR3 included „moments to dwell“ in its programme. This was followed by concerts in renowned clubs: Rote Fabrik- Zürich, FriSon- Fribourg, Auditorium- Freiburg (DE), Grabenhalle- St. Gallen, les temps modernes- Vevey, Mahogany Hall- Bern, St. Gervais- Biel and many more. Dew supported international acts as Thomas Dybdahl (NO), Emily Haines (USA), Benjamin Biolay (FR) und Boy Omega (SWE) and dew has a coveted artist deal with Martin Guitars!
