LocY is a 21 year old singer songwriter and multinstrumentalist with spanish roots based in Bern (Switzerland). Composing and performing her music on stage has been her passion since she was 10 years old. After 4 years of performing and releasing music with her band “Casual Minds” she now takes a new journey as a solo artist.
In her debut single “Slow Down!”, which she wrote and coproduced, she opens up about struggling with her perfectionism and not being able to be patient with herself. The Y in LocY represents her way of making music, which is merging all her experiences and inspirations and channeling them into one sound. This can range from a rock ballad, to smooth jazz aswell indie pop, but she doesn’t like to limit herself in genres. Her open and charismatic demeanor and catchy melodies invite the audience to dive into her music with her.
Currently studying Jazz at the HKB, LocY wants to explore all kinds of sounds and hone her skills as a vocalist and multinstrumentalist. She’s planning to produce and record her first EP for 2024.
