LocY is a 23 year old singer songwriter and multinstrumentalist with spanish roots based in Bern (Switzerland). The “Y” reflects her unique approach to music: weaving together her diverse experiences into one distinctive sound. Singing in both Spanish and English, her songs range from smooth bossa nova inspired jazz to powerful rock-driven tracks, always refusing to be confined by genre.
In her debut single “Slow Down!” (2023), which she wrote and coproduced, she opens up about struggling with her perfectionism and not being able to be patient with herself. Currently she is working on recording her first EP "Despierta"
With her powerful voice, charismatic stage presence, and spontaneously improvised looper creations, LocY draws audiences into an immersive musical experience where no two performances are ever the same.
In addition to her solo work, she performs as a bassist in projects such as Zoe’s Big Mess Ensemble and Womansplaining. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Music under Andreas Schärer at the HKB while also teaching vocals in Bern and Düdingen.
