I‘ve got a Bachelor in classical singing and a Master in Pedagogy. Before my studies I took several years of pop lessons and now I‘m taking CVT (Complete Vocal Technique) lessons to work on my pop voice again.
I write poems and songtexts in mundart, german and english.
The Opernkollektiv WorkshOpera Bern wants to find a new approach to the old opera pieces. We play in places which normally don‘t play classical music and try to connect to an audience that normally doesn‘t listen to classical music.
The work with my body and mind is very important for me, since my body is my instrument. So I‘m doing yoga, feldenkrais and meditation.
I‘m a queer feminist, part of several queer or feminist groups and I also like to bring those topics into my music, for example in planning classical concerts with as many pieces from female as from male composers or in writing songs about feminist or queer topics.
