Lejla Bajrami was born in Switzerland in 1998.
In 2014, she enrolled at the Music and Ballet School I. N. Lluj in Skopje NMKD, where she studied music theory and learned to play the piano.
After completing her studies in Skopje in 2017, Lejla moved back to Switzerland to pursue her interest in sound art further.
In 2020, she completed her Bachelor's in Sound Arts at the University of Arts in Bern, Switzerland. Later on, she earned her master's degree in Contemporary Arts Practice at the same institution in 2022. During her studies, she explored sound installations, spatial and binaural sound compositions, live electronics, sound composition for theater and film, podcast and audio play production, among other areas.
In 2021, Lejla won the Best Sound Design Award at the Upcoming Filmmakers Festival in Luzern, Switzerland, for the animated movie "UNKNOT" from Alexandra Siebert. In 2020, she also won an audio play competition at SRF (Swiss Radio Television) as part of a team of author, director, voice artists, and sound producer.
She is presently employed as a sound engineer at Theater Basel in Switzerland, and is also assisting artists K.S and V.M. In addition, she is involved in several art projects, either as an individual or in collaboration with others, primarily within Switzerland's confines.
