My professional musical work aims to encourage integration between Swiss and non-Swiss people through music and language learning. The singing courses I offered were therefore open to both English and non-English speakers, allowing participants to connect through music while also practicing language skills.
I have performed in many choirs, musicals and operettas in several countries, and have also sung as a soloist at weddings, birthday celebrations and company events.
Since 2020 I have been a member of Chestnut Voices, a female jazz choir in Lucerne. I have also taken part in several projects with the Boys Choir Luzern, including Game ON! – Symphonic Game Music in Concert (KKL Luzern, 2022–2023), Carmina Burana (MaihofKultur, 2021), Bilder (k)eine Ausstellung (MaihofKultur, 2024) and The Sound of Spielberg and Lucas in Concert (KKL Luzern, 2026).
From 2009 to 2025 I led weekly singing classes in English in Lucerne for preschool children and their parents or carers, combining music and early language exposure. Between 2012 and 2021 I also organised 12 English musical workshops for school children as part of the Stadt Luzern Kreativ und Sportwochen.
From 2012 to 2019 I performed in eight children’s theatre productions with the Lucerne World Theatre Company, usually including group singing or solo roles.
Earlier musical experience includes singing with Matthäus Kantorei in Lucerne (2009–2017), Total Vocal Jazz Choir (2004–2005) and De Stemming Choir in Amsterdam (1999–2002). I also performed in musicals and operettas with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society at the University of Hull, and as a soloist with the University Choir of Bologna.
